Friday Feels

With the release of my new website came a new idea! As my business has grown, something that has become so special to me is my blog.  Although it is used to showcase my work, I also use the blog for sharing parts of my personal life.  I usually blog about any of my travels, an overview of each year and other personal posts about my home or our dog Bear recently passing.

But rather than sporadically updating my viewers on my life, I want to introduce “Friday Feels”. I haven’t quite figured what every Friday Feels post will include but instead of contemplating this idea for months before implementing, I figured I’d just go for it!

Here goes nothing 🙂

YAYYYYYYY!!!!!! As some of you may have seen, I published my new website & brand.  I have been working on this for several months using Showit and collaborating with Between the Lines by B. While it took a little longer than I had expected it to, I am overwhelmed with excitement for how it all turned out.

One of my best friends and former roommate, Nicole, is moving away from me. After being long distance friends throughout college, we have been lucky enough to be in the same town for the past three years.  I am SO proud of her for her next adventure at Columbia University in NYC to pursue her Master’s Degree in Journalism but am selfishly sad she’s leaving.

In addition to being one of my best friends, Nicole has also been the best addition/third wheel to John and I’s relationship. There’s really no way to type out the friendship between the three of us but I am so glad it exists.  Although I am still in denial she’ll be leaving in a couple of days, I know that our friendship will be a constant in my life and I cannot wait to make a trip out to the Big Apple to see her.

Okay, this is a joke but also kind of a reality haha.  With our dog Bear passing away a month ago, our house had felt very empty without the sound of paws on our wood floor.  After having a “co-worker” in my office for so long, I was deeply missing Bear and company during the days at work. As a way to help that, we babysat John’s family dog, Pepe, for two weeks while they renovated their backyard.  Well.. three days after he went back home, Ollie the bulldog showed up! My sister Audrey is going on a mission’s trip to South Africa this month and we volunteered to watch Ollie while she’s gone.  Since the arrival of Ollie, I can’t help but feel like we’re running a pet service… #EbbyLpets instead of #EbbyLbrides?!

To conclude, I hope you have enjoyed the first Friday Feels post. Have a great weekend!
