Troon North Golf Club Wedding, Dain & Jolene, Scottsdale AZ

In order to accurately tell you about my experience on Dain and Jolene’s wedding day, I must begin by saying it was my first time meeting them. Because they live in Arizona, meeting up for some coffee to chat wedding details wasn’t something we could easily do. However, over the months prior to their special day, Jolene and I chatted via email/phone and got to know each other a bit. What I instantly observed about Jolene was her excitement to marry Dain and her trust that everything would be perfect on their wedding day.

When my second shooter Maddie and I arrived at Jolene’s bridal suite that morning, I knew that it was going to be just as wonderful as I thought. Jolene and I shared a “finally!” hug when we met and everyone in the room warmly welcomed us. Dain and Jolene are such a warm, caring couple. They were so appreciative of us throughout the entire day to us and all other vendors there. They excuded joy to everyone around but most of all, each other.

My favorite moment during the day was after the ceremony. We had a break to have lunch and relax before pictures began. After they had finished their meals, we watched as Dain and Jolene stepped outside alone. Through the golf club’s back windows, we could see the newly married couple sharing a beautiful moment. Dain wrapped his arms around Jolene and they faced out to the stunning golf course. In that moment, there could have been hundreds of people around them but it was clear the only thing on their minds was each other.

Although our day began with meeting for the first time, it ended feeling like we had known Dain and Jolene for years. Their entire wedding day was absolutely stunning in every detail. Her dress, the flowers, the sunset but most of all their love and the joy that was felt by all.
