Miles Wilson is a senior at Rantoul Township High school.  For his photos, we met at his house which also happens to be the home of several chickens! I loved learning about the different kinds and seeing ones with hair all around their feet or ones that were funky colored.  I also loved receiving a carton of their eggs before I left! Along with chickens, we also photographed Miles with his girlfriend Hannah.  Hannah is a year younger than Miles and is just adorable.  She laughed and helped make Miles smile throughout the session.  They have been dating for almost a year now and are so funny and cute together.  Miles mother, Gwen, runs and owns Nuptiae Weddings and Events.  When finishing up my degree at the University of Illinois, I interned with Gwen and got to see the ins and outs of her business.  I had a wonderful time working with Gwen and learned so much more about the wedding industry and other parts of planning aside from photography.  Gwen and I still keep in touch and I am lucky enough to photograph some weddings that she plans.  Overall, photographing Miles at his home meant learning lots about chickens, meeting his lovely girlfriend Hannah and getting to catch up with Gwen.  It was a great day!
