Wedding at The Wellsley, Annie & Will, Chicago IL
From the very first time I talked with Annie and Will, I had a feeling their wedding day was going to be something special. There was just an instant connection, and you could feel how excited they were to marry each other. That energy carried through the entire day in the best way.
They got ready at The Gwen Chicago and wow… what a start. The suite had the most beautiful light, so much space, and a balcony with an unreal view of the city. Honestly, a dream!!
One of the moments that stuck with me most was Annie just taking everything in. Looking at her dress, her ears filling with happy tears, and realizing “this is it, it’s my wedding day.” Will saw Annie for the first time on that dreamy balcony and the day began.
Their ceremony was so sweet and heartfelt, with a reading that had everyone smiling (and maybe tearing up a little). If you’ve never read The Giraffe and The Monkey by Daniel Thompson.. stop what you’re doing and go take a read!
All of their celebrations took place at The Wellsley, which… truly lives up to the hype. The upstairs lounge space was such a vibe—perfect for wedding party photos and then later turned into the after-party spot. It felt fun, relaxed, and very them.
Details and Design made sure every detail was executed perfectly and TVK Music had everyone on the dance floor all night long!
Annie and Will truly had the perfect Chicago wedding at The Wellsley and I loved every minute of being a part of it.
