As some of you may have seen… John, Bear and I lived in an Extended Stay Hotel for the entire month of August prior to moving into our house. In case you missed this exciting month of our lives (sarcasm), the blog post is HERE. But I am happy to say that we are in our house and are finally all settled in! With fall being my busiest season, it has taken a little while to get completely unpacked and moved in. However, Bear had absolutely no problem with that and has been right at home since the first day we arrived. As always, he immediately claimed certain areas his that include the couch, our bed, the guest bed, the closet floor, the bathtub, the rug by the office window, and pretty much anywhere else he pleases.
One of Bear’s favorite activities includes sitting on the couch and dropping his ball on the floor for us to pick it up. It is exactly like when a baby realizes if they drop something their parent will pick it up for them… only for them to drop it again. The Kitchen, according to Bear, is for treats and any scraps he might be able to find when we are cooking. Since moving in, he has become quite the master mind when we are gone and has enjoyed a loaf of bread or two… or three.
Once we step into the office, we both go to work. Bear diligently sits by the window and patrols the neighborhood sidewalks and lets me know when any dogs walk by… or squirrels. Bear’s Bed #1… our bedroom.
Bear’s bed #2… the guest bedroom. However, he promises to share when company is present.
