Just posting this blog has me longing to be back in the Florida/Caribbean sunshine! This past week I was able to travel with The Cassels, my second family, to their Florida home as well as a four day Caribbean cruise.  I have been traveling with this amazing family for the past five years but had never been able to see where they spend a lot of their time when not in Illinois.  Their Florida home was wonderful!!! All of the decorations were so cute and the entire home was super cozy.  We spent two days there prior to getting aboard the Brilliance of the Seas, Royal Caribbean Cruise ship.  Hannah and I soaked up every minute of the cruise… getting room service breakfast overlooking the ocean, going to see the shows at night, indulging in way too much late night pizza, sitting poolside to get splashed by the belly flop competitors, and tons of other fun things the cruise offered.  We stopped in Cozumel for a day and hung out at Mr. Sanchos Resort. I would highly recommend this stop for anyone going to Cozumel! We had so much fun playing in the water park (lots of huge blow up climbing, bouncing, sliding things!).  We also made sure to order drinks at the swim up bar and take a break from the water and indulge in the wonderful seafood ceviche, fresh guacamole, and fish tacos. In the afternoon, we adventured in the ocean on a jet ski… following boats to make sure we caught on the waves we could. It was an awesome afternoon but during all of the fun I forgot to reapply sunscreen.  That Mexico sun is HOT! You’ll see below that after that day I had quite the burn… please note the sunglasses tan line.  So awful looking! Other than my unfortunate looking sunburn, my trip was absolutely amazing.  As always, I had the best time with my travel companion Hannah and am forever grateful for meeting this family and for all of the time I have been able to spend with them.
