These two are so great.  Josh & Taryn drove down from  St. Louis for their engagement session Sunday morning.  What was supposed to be a 9:30am session at Allerton Park turned into a long breakfast at Taffy’s in Mahomet.  Taryn and I both texted each other pretty much simultaneously with concern for the thunderstorm that was taking place.  After driving all the way to Champaign for their photos, it would be such a disappointment if they couldn’t happen. Rather than letting the storm rain on our parade, we decided to go to breakfast and wait it out.  To our surprise, as we finished our breakfast we looked outside and saw a clear sky. We were good to go!

Josh & Taryn’s photos in Allerton turned out even better than expected.  Their maroon color palette paired with their natural posing… perfection.  And let’s be honest, we would all love to have Taryn’s beautiful blonde hair!! Just as I loved photographing their proposal, I loved photographing this adorable couple at Allerton Park.  I cannot wait to work with them again, next time in St. Louis for their wedding. Thank you Josh and Taryn for making the trip to Champaign for your engagement photos, I am so happy to share them with you!
