Matthew and Jenna were married on January 3rd in Mattoon, IL. They are such a sweet, down to earth couple that were absolutely delightful to work with. It was a blustery wet winter day outside but that didn’t stop us from making the most out of it! Plus, there was no need to go outside for photos when the church was decorated so beautifully (credit to Jenna’s Aunt and her vision). The lights, Christmas trees, blue accents, and lanterns gave it such a magical fairy tale feel. John and I loved getting to know the girls in the morning and being entertained by the most outgoing little flower girl we have ever met. After the ceremony, she entertained the entire family by performing Blank Space by Taylor Swift and not missing a single word. She was a sassy little diva that kept us laughing all day long. The boys also made us laugh with their awkward interactions and fear of touching in photos. ..but don’t worry, we didn’t give them a choice 🙂 All but one of the “funny” poses from the groomsmen was simply putting their arm around the other one.
Jenna and Matthew were married by Matthew’s father which was so personal and special. Along with Matthew’s father having a significant role in the wedding, Jenna’s dad wrote her an incredibly heart felt note that he had his brother read so that he wouldn’t loose it while trying! It was so sweet… everyone at the reception (including me) was sniffling. I love little moments like that at weddings and hearing from the people who know the bride and groom the most. Every aspect of this wedding was beautiful and I was so happy to be a part of it.
