Aaron and Ellen were married on August 15th in Paris, IL where his family is from and where he grew up.  Their day was filled with casual fun and wonderful friends and family.  Ellen loves cowboy boots and wanted to make sure and incorporate them in any way possible.  She had all of her bridesmaids wear boots… majority being her pairs!  I love that we were able to use her boots and his cowboy boots to take detail shots.  The boys did not wear cowboy boots because they opted for a cooler, relaxed look with knaki shorts, white shirts and boat shoes. I loved that Aaron and Ellen’s wedding day was true to them.  They were surrounded by the people that mattered most and they incorporated the things that were important to them.

Aaron & Ellen met in New York while he was in the Navy and she was just visiting the city.  From then on, the couple made it work distance for a while until they were able to relocate together to Schaumburg, IL.   They were originally planning for a 2016 wedding but decided why wait!  I loved being able to work with them during the final months of their wedding preparation and getting to know them so well.

Aaron and Ellen are the kind of people who would do anything for others.  I noticed on the day of their wedding, Aaron was going around checking in with guests to make sure they had everything and even asking if they wanted another drink.  I loved how he smiled at Ellen and how much fun he was having throughout the day.  Aaron and Ellen both have strong bonds with their families especially siblings which was wonderful to witness and photograph. Congratulations to the official Mr. and Mrs. Dalbey! So happy for you two.
