Allerton Park Engagement Session, Scott & Zach, Monticello IL
Scott and Zach met on Facebook circa 2012. Scott found Zach cute and had a few mutual friends with him. Because of the mutual friends and the immediate attraction, Scott took a chance and friend requested Zach. What began as a flirty friendship eventually progressed to dating after a few months.
When recalling their relationship, Scott shared that their engagement was one that was a long time coming! However, it was well worth the wait. After all, in the time between meeting, dating and getting engaged; Scott and Zach purchased a home and created a life together. It was at their home that Scott popped the question. They were having a relaxing day, making dinner and hanging out when he decided to ask Zach to marry him.
For their engagement photos, I met Scott and Zach at Allerton Park. Zach, Scott and I began the afternoon as ‘work acquaintances’ and truly left as friends. I mean, by the end I was wishing I could attend their friends get together the next day.. especially because of the homemade taquitos Zach was planning to make! I cannot wait for their wedding in October 2021!
