What a year! Twenty four weddings. It sounds like a lot when I say it/type it out loud.. but really, this year was an absolute blast. I couldn’t have done it without my incredible second shooters. These girls (and John) do it all with me… from breakfast before we start the day to blaring the radio on long drives back from weddings. We have photographed all over Illinois, Ohio, California, Arizona, Colorado and Kentucky this year.
I wanted to extend a thank you to my seconds Maddie, Taylor, John, Nicole, Morgan, Teresa, and Darija. I value you so much. Whether it’s running back to my house because I forgot an extra battery or moving one of the bridesmaids an extra couple of inches; I wouldn’t be where I’m at in my career without you all. You each bring something to a wedding day that is completely unique.
Maddie, you bring an extra amount of thoughtfulness into each day and have an incredible way with children. You also entertain my Instagram obsessed babbling and always enjoy being an “Ebby L associate”.
Taylor, your confidence and ability to jump into any situation is inspiring. I can always count on you to fix one person in a group of twelve in order to make sure we get a picture perfect image.
John, well.. you’re John. 🙂
Nicole, you just get me. Having you around on a wedding day makes any extra nerves I may have dissipate.
Morgan, your analytical way of thinking and processing things before I’ve even thought about it is amazing. Example, you had already mentally calculated how many guests there were based on chairs/rows before I had even counted one row! This is why you’re the teacher and I’m a photographer.
Teresa, you’re my seasoned veteran. You’ve been with me for several wedding seasons now and it was a treat having you back from Australia for a couple this year.
Darija, you bring a fun, creative spark to a wedding day. You’ve got a wonderful, natural way of interacting with people. Plus, you support me when a giant tree trunk comes falling out of the sky in front of us.
I couldn’t have gotten through this season without my location testing models… aka my second shooters…
Where’s Waldo Ebby L addition…
When you think you’re out of the frame…
Maddie…I can still see you…

RIP to the three stools I went through this year.

Sometimes you have to fix the getaway car as they’re about to walk out the door…
We always love hanging out with videographers… even the ones that wear cat socks during the reception…
And with DJ’s who lead the Cha Cha Slide…
Busted eating Chex mix.. and then later, pizza.
It’s all about the dress…
Future Ebby L Photography second shooter.. Miss Jacqueline…Maybe a little too excited…
In addition to photographers we also…pop champagne… for the bridal party that is…
Fix flowers for groomsmen, ring bearers, fathers, etc.
Share our stool with the tiniest ring bearer!
Maddie just couldn’t help herself at Bryan & Ashley’s wedding…
