Chicago City Engagement Session, DJ & Bri, Chicago IL

I’m currently sitting on my couch, working and watching the Bachelor. If any of you are fans or even remotely pay attention to things like E! News… you know the Bachelor was pretty full of drama this year!

While I am a total sucker for the show, sitting here watching it while looking at this blog of DJ and Bri really puts things into perspective. Reality TV has this way of making you see things as so dreamy and ideal when in reality… it’s television. It’s not all butterflies and rainbows.

Luckily, my job lets me see and work with couples like DJ and Bri that actually do have that dreamy, ideal reality. DJ and Bri have known each other since they were little babies. Their moms attended college together and I am sure when having children thought, what if our kids get married one day?! Although they knew each other in diapers, it wasn’t until their early 20s that they reconnected and totally hit it off.

Now, their mothers dreams are coming true and these two are getting married! We met this past weekend for their engagement photos and I had so much fun. DJ is such a goofball and Bri can’t stop smiling when she’s around him. Engagement sessions like theirs are always my favorite. They were so willing to try things out of their comfort zone, trust me when I had a vision and just relax and have fun. I am so excited to be a part of their wedding day and can’t wait for it to be here!
