I absolutely love this couple.  Chris and Caitlin are so easy to get along with and even easier to photograph.  I love the relationship they have with each other and how obvious it is that they know each other inside and out.  Caitlin is a school teacher and absolutely lives for checklists, planning, and organization.  We were able to incorporate this side of her by using a chalkboard to have one of her little lists during their session.  It was so funny to see Chris and his face looking at the chalkboard and rolling his eyes at her and the way she is.  We were also able to get photos of Chris with something he loves, his baseball hat!  Caitlin was like many brides and had specific outfits she wanted them to wear but allowed Chris to wear his beloved Cubs hat for a couple of images.  I really enjoyed taking photos of Chris and Caitlin that showed their personalities and things that are important to them.  The other element of their engagement session was putting a country twist to things and wearing their cowboy boots and plaid.  The way Chris looked at Caitlin in that white dress was almost too much to handle… so excited for him to see her in her actual white dress on their wedding day!
