CJ & Aggie are the perfect pair. They have been dating since they attended Downers Grove North High School together.  Although they didn’t attend the same college, they were only about 15 minutes away from each other and were able to continue their relationship just like they did before. They have now been together for a total of 7 years and are happily engaged and living in a condo in the city together.  I met this adorable couple at the Naperville River Walk in Downtown Naperville for their engagement photos. I loved their outfits and how well they coordinated with each other.  We walked around the River Walk and found wonderful spots for their photos and had the perfect golden lighting throughout.  Because it was a beautiful Sunday, the River Walk was crowded with people so we had to wait for people and several doggies to pass us when getting photos there.

For the next stop, we went to a local, private airport in Naperville.  CJ is a corporate pilot and is obsessed with airplanes and aviation.  They are planning to incorporate some aviation themes into their wedding and felt that it was a must to get some of their engagement photos with an airplane.  We were lucky enough to get to take photos with an antique airplane.  The plane was built in 1947 and was absolutely incredible.  The cockpit of the plane was incredibly small making climbing up and getting photos of Aggie’s ring on the dash an extra challenge! CJ, Aggie and I had so much fun taking pictures with this airplane and I know that these photos are extra meaningful to CJ. I am so excited to be a part of their wedding day and to have met such wonderful people. Although I have only spent one afternoon with this couple, I feel like we are already friends and I look forward to the next time I see them…. especially if it’s the day Aggie walks down the aisle!
