The anxious excitement was felt from the second we walked into the doors at the Allerton Mansion. Ashley paced around the room, going down a checklist in her head of things to do and trying her best to not be nervous. Her bridesmaids joined her and finished up their last minute touches to get ready for the day. Her sister, Amy, who is very close to Ashley, zipped her dress and slipped on her shoes. They all stood there stunned, Ashley looked absolutely beautiful. Her makeup brought out the blue in her eyes and her hair looked perfect. Ashley’s mother snapped pictures of her getting ready and tried her hardest not to let her emotions get the best of her.
Throughout the morning, Bryan and Ashley chose to not see each other and to wait until their ceremony. While they were both having a good time with their friends and family members, the anticipation of being with each other stayed in their mind. I knew the second they saw each other they would instantly be at ease and overjoyed by it being their special day.
Bryan and Ashley held back tears as her dad led her down the aisle to meet her groom. Just as I thought, they were instantly glowing as soon as their hands touched. Bryan and Ashley have a natural ease around each other. They giggle and goof around as if they’ve been best friends since kindergarten. In the same way they connect through laughter, they connect through touch. Throughout the day, I saw Bryan give Ashley several kisses and warm hugs. They just seem to be on the same page with each other always. They were the first to get the dance floor started after their dance and continued to party on it all night. When my second shooter Maddie and I left for the evening, we looked back to a packed dance floor full of joy that I know continued long after we left. Bryan and Ashley, you really are the perfect ones for each other. I am so happy to have been there to capture the moments of your wedding day.
