It was sunny, warm and an absolutely beautiful September day.  The church was decorated with pink, blue and gold flowers.  While they prepared, the ladies snacked on sandwiches and laughed at the little ring bearer who was happy to entertain them all. The flower girls twirled around in their white puffy dresses and admired Kaylee as she finished applying her makeup. Kaylee’s mother zipped up her daughter’s dress and looked at her with admiring eyes.  At last, it was Kaylee’s wedding day!  A day they had planned, prepared and looked forward to for months prior.

Each of the bridesmaids wore navy, short dresses with lace accents. They paired their dresses with unique, gold doubled necklaces that were gifted to them by Kaylee.  The groomsmen complimented the ladies with navy suits and gold ties.  The hot pink, navy and green flowers popped against their suits and dresses. Kaylee wore an  a-line, strapless dress that had beautiful lace detailing throughout.

Guests sat anxiously awaiting the ceremony to begin.  As they all took their seats, country love songs played while they looked through the adorable programs.  Everyone “awwed” as Carter, the ring bearer, ran down the aisle sporting his gold bow tie and suspenders. As each bridal party pair walked down the aisle, the anticipation grew. At the back of the church, Kaylee and her dad entered, arm in arm. Karis’ face instantly lit up. As soon as he locked eyes with his soon to be bride, his is nervous profile quickly changed to a big grin.

Karis and Kaylee have a natural comfort around each other. Anyone who knows Kaylee knows she is a goofball with the biggest heart. Kaylee and Karis are a perfect match. They make each other laugh and the way they feel about each other is obvious.  From timid crushes to long distance lovers, Kaylee and Karis have continued to grow together since meeting. Through the duration of their lives, I know their relationship will continue to thrive and that laughter will be a present part of it. All in all, I really enjoyed being a part of Kaylee & Karis’ wedding day and am so thankful to have met such a lovely couple!
