Friday Feels
On the road again only this time not in Portland but in Illinois! Today, I’m on my way with my favorite road trip partner Maddie on our way to St. Louis. We are SO excited for this weekend’s wedding. St. Louis.
This city has become one of my favorite places. Although I don’t get to it very often, I always love visiting. I’m not sure what it is but something about it always makes me want to go back. The last time I was in St. Louis was for a wedding along with visiting one of my best friends, Savannah. Maddie and I had the best time hanging out with her while there. I had forgotten to blog our trip last time so here are some of my favorite pictures from the weekend!
Up and Vanished.
With traveling so much, finding something to entertain me in the car was a must! Lately.. that’s been Up and Vanished. If you have never heard of it, it’s a podcast about an unsolved murder mystery. What’s different about this one is it’s been recorded week to week as the host, Payne Lindsey, finds out more information. The case happened over 10 years ago but since the podcast has started it has been brought back to the spotlight. I love this podcast and am always excited for a trip alone to get caught up on what I missed!
Alissa Greene.
One of the downsides to being self-employed is not having co-workers. I am a social person and so day to day at home working can get kind of lonely! With the help of the Rising Tide Society, I have found a group of “co-workers”. I am so grateful for this. Alissa and I have gone from seeing each other at meetings and talking to working together whenever we can. We love going to coffee shops and editing simultaneously and just chatting about our lives. Our photography styles couldn’t be more different but it’s funny how similar our goals and mindsets are. Go check her work out, she’s aaaaaaammmmaaaazzzzing!
