Friday Feels
Hey friends! It’s been a bit. While I ideally like to share a Friday Feels every single week.. life has been crazy. I’ve on weekend 8/10 of traveling and everything is a whirlwind. Oh… John and I also bought a house at the beginning of this month. We’ve been painting and prepping the house for our move in, next week! This season of life is stressful but in the best way. So since I’ve skipped out on a couple of weeks of Friday Feels, here’s an overview of the past couple of weeks.

Central IL, Chicago, Auburn IN, Rush City MN, Denver CO.
Those were the wedding locations in the past month. I absolutely love traveling for my job and getting to experience weddings in so many different locations. The variety in venues these past four weeks has been so much fun. In Auburn IN, the reception was at an automobile museum. In Rush City MN, the entire wedding day was at a rustic barn wedding venue.
With all of those different locations comes LOTS of travel. For majority, lots of car travel! Luckily, my second shooters and I have found ways to make long road trips fun by listening to podcasts like My Favorite Murder and stopping in Wisconsin for Spotted Cow Beer & cheese curds!
Our House.
Like I said above, John and I bought a house at the beginning of this month! We’re sticking around the Western suburbs of Chicago in Lombard. We move in next week but in these past couple of weeks we’ve been fixing things here and there and prepping for us to move in. I can’t wait to make it our own… so for those of you who follow me on Pinterest.. I’m apologizing ahead of time for all of the house Pins.
Visitors!
My parents and sister are coming to visit at the beginning of next week. We’ve been in Chicagoland for a little over 7 months and my mom is the only one of the three who has visited so far! With that being said, I can’t wait for my dad and sister to come see where we live especially now that we get to show them our house! It’s definitely going to be filled with unpacked boxes but I know it will instantly feel more like our home once it’s got family in it 🙂
Side note, it’s already starting to feel cozier with all of the help from John’s parents these past couple of weeks. With John and I being so busy, I don’t know what we would have done without them this month!
