Friday Feels
WHAT A WEEK.
Last Friday Feels I announced that John and I were moving! So with that being said, this entire past week has been jam packed with packing, unloading, driving, cleaning… you name it. It has been so exhausting but I know that it was all worth it! I’m anxious to show off the new house to you all but I’ll save that for another Friday…well okay, I’ll show you something quirky about it…
The Tree Mural.
This is in our living room. John and I rent the bottom floor of the house with a different tenant living above us. We do not have access to the entrance to the upstairs however, we do have this elaborate tree painting!!!
At first I was a little taken back by it but weirdly enough I’m starting to kind of enjoy it. I’m not exactly sure what I’ll end up doing with the unusable stairs but for now I filled it with a couple of books & plants!
August.
August, you are insane. John is working until the end of this month in Champaign which means we’ll be going back and forth a lot. I think I jinxed us two years ago when I said we’d never live in a hotel again. Because guess what… we’ll kind of be living in a hotel again!
Although it isn’t the most ideal situation, we had a blast last time and I am sure we will this time as well!
PS – I included a random photo of John and I in nice clothes because this past week we have both been wearing sweatpants and hats because… moving.
Fluff vs. Stairs.
So while we’ve been moving, Fluff is staying at John’s parents house with her buddy, Pepe. They are best friends and spend most of the day together. That is, until he goes upstairs. We aren’t sure why but for some reason Fluff does not have any interest in going up stairs! She will go up them if we lead her with a leash but otherwise, she’ll pass.
One of the perks to adopting a dog is discovering their quirks and their personality the longer you have them. #Adoptdontshop
