Gallery 1028 Wedding, Dylan & Melanie, Chicago IL
“God knew what he was doing when he put Dylan and I together”, Melanie explained to their priest on Dylan and Melanie’s wedding day eve.
Over the course of their wedding day, there were so many moments that made me step back and think to myself.. wow, Dylan and Melanie are truly meant to be.
When her father gave a speech at their reception, he recalls seeing Dylan and Melanie together for the first time and knowing that he was meeting his daughter’s ‘forever person’. Her father knew this just by seeing how Melanie looked at Dylan and how happy she was whenever he was around.
In the bridal suite before the day began, Melanie read a note from Dylan. In his note, Dylan talked about marriage and how his entire life he has been told by others how marriage is hard and how it takes work. Dylan then went on to say that while marriage does take work and will be hard, deciding to marry Melanie will forever be the easiest decision he has ever made.
Dylan and Melanie, your wedding day was so incredibly special. I could go on and on about the meaningful moments from your day but know that the pictures speak for themselves. I am forever grateful to have photographed your wedding day and to have witnessed the first day of your lives as husband and wife!
