It was a Friday afternoon in Lincoln Park.

Tyler and Maegan said ‘I Do’ and committed their lives to each other in front of six of their closest family members.

During the homily, their priest shared insight that I will never forget. He referenced a couple he knew who had been together for over fifty years. When he had asked them how to make their love last, they shared advice I had never heard before.

The couple said when making any decision, make sure that it is ‘the best one for your marriage’. Whether it’s as simple as what to make for dinner or bigger things like changing careers; In all things, make sure that your choices contribute in the best way to your marriage.

Tyler and Maegan, I loved spending your wedding day with you and your family. Overall, It was a beautiful way to begin your lives together and I couldn’t be happier for you both.
