From the beginning to the end, Cody and Laura’s wedding day sparkled. It began with little details like her sparkly high heels and their wedding invitations. It continued with the bridesmaids beautiful gold dresses that paired perfectly with their beautiful flowers. As guests walked into Cody and Laura’s wedding reception, they were seated at tables accented with gold sequins and other sparkly details. When the party was over, guests said farewell to the newly married couple with a sparkler exit.
Not only did the details of Cody and Laura’s day glimmer, these two and everyone around them sparkled with joy. Every little moment I recall from their wedding day was filled with laughter and happiness.
Thinking back on the day, I couldn’t help but share a funny memory of the morning. It was time for Laura to put on her wedding dress. Her sister Katie and her mother began helping her get into the dress. Well… it wasn’t five minutes later that there Laura was, officially stuck inside of her wedding dress! They had decided to put the wedding dress over her head instead of stepping in which led to uncontrollable laughter as Laura danced around with her wedding dress completely covering her face. After realizing that approach wasn’t going to work, they had her step into the dress and soon after revealed an absolutely stunning bride to everyone in the room.
As a sign of their love, Cody and Laura exchanged letters prior to their wedding ceremony. Each of their notes included titles on the front. She wrote, “To my Fiance” and his referred to her as, “His angel”. It was so sweet to hear parts of their letters. In his letter, Cody told Laura how excited he was and how their wedding day was truly going to be the best day of his life. As Laura read his letter, her eyes glimmered with the tears she held back. It truly was going to be the best day of both of their lives.
Their wedding ceremony was beautiful outside by the Pear Tree pond and their reception was stunning inside the Estate. Cody and Laura celebrated with champagne, danced with their friends and family, and toasted s’mores by the fire later in the evening. It was such a fabulous wedding day and it was only fitting that Cody and Laura were surrounded by joy & sparkles exiting as husband and wife. I am so excited to share with you some of my favorites from Cody and Laura’s Pear Tree Estate Wedding.
