Wedding at The Exchange Chicago, Jen & Ryan, Chicago IL

Some wedding days are so full of heartfelt moments and joyful details, they’re impossible to forget—and Jen and Ryan’s celebration was exactly that.

They shared their first look on a rooftop, surrounded by the Chicago skyline and completely wrapped up in each other. One of the sweetest parts? Jen’s dad quietly watching from across the rooftop, taking photos on his phone and soaking it all in.

We made a stop at The Wrigley Building for bridal party portraits, where live music on the street added the perfect soundtrack to an already dreamy scene. The flower girl and ring bearer brought the cuteness all day long—especially during a group photo where they had everyone jumping together.

The venue itself, The Exchange,  was breathtaking, with a grand staircase and stunning floral installations that made a huge impression. Ryan’s uncle performed a favorite Dave Matthews Band song for their first dance, followed by a crowd-pleasing singalong of “My Way” led by Uncle Frank (yes, there were printed lyrics for everyone!). Guests also loved the cozy corner coffee bar, complete with lattes, affogatos, and tea. And the dance floor? Packed all night thanks to Maggie Speaks.

Jen and Ryan, your day was full of magic, joy, and love. What an honor to capture it all!
