Matt and Daisy. Where to begin. These two are some of my favorite humans. They laugh, they love and they totally complete each other. I have been able to get to know them really well over the last couple of months. Matt is a manager at John and I’s absolute favorite place to go, Neat Kitchen & Bar. From nights chatting with him at the bar to continuing our friendship outside of his work hours, it’s been so much fun getting to spend time with him and his beautiful fiance, Daisy.

At the beginning of our photo session, I could tell that Daisy and Matt were nervous. It’s a weird nerve racking experience to be in front of the camera. As we continued and they settled in, I could see a change as they started to relax and really just focus on each other. It’s always my favorite when kisses and giddy laughs start happening before I even prompt them to.

After majority of their photos at the Forest Preserve, we celebrated at Imperial Oak Brewing, one of Daisy’s favorite spots. John met up with us as well as another one of our friends. We had pizza and beer along with a celebratory shot or two and had so much fun. And if you know me you know that I’ve been obsessed with nighttime photos recently. So when we were sitting outside and the patio lit up, I couldn’t help but take a couple more of them under the lights.

Matt and Daisy, I am obsessed with you two and if I haven’t mentioned it to you enough times, I wish more than anything I could be a part of your wedding day. But I know that I’ll be able to photograph future milestones for you two as you continue building a wonderful life together!
