Friday Feels
I am SOOO excited for this weekend! This has been my first full week in our new house and it has seriously just been wonderful. I have spent a lot (probably too much) time decorating and arranging furniture. Hints the picture above… I don’t know what it is but something about having magnets on the fridge and pictures on the wall instantly helps me feel like I’m home. I have also figured out my way to Target without maps now… which is also probably something to be concerned about! But for real, it’s wonderful to be in our new house and just to be back in a routine.
This weekend is also going to be AMAZING! I have my first wedding of the fall and will also have our first house guests! My best friend Nicole is coming from New York and then Maddie and Morgan will be coming up from Champaign. So many fun things to look forward to!! 🙂 Anyone else have exciting labor day plans?!

Ah, I finally caved and created an Instagram account for Fluff! I love following other cute pups on Instagram and couldn’t help but join the club. Sooo… if you want a daily dose of cuteness make sure to head on over to Instagram and give her a follow!
In other Fluff news, we’ve recently discovered the dog park 5 minutes from the new house and she LOVES it. We’ve gone three times this week and I think it’s officially a new habit of ours.
The House.
As I mentioned, I’ve spent a lot of time making our new place our “home” this week. I’m not quite ready to give you the entire tour but I figured I’d share a couple small victories I made this week. First of all, our new table! With the help of John and his mom, we successfully put it together. We still need a rug and some decorations in the dining room but so far I’m pretty happy with it 🙂
I also made some new plant baby purchases. I wouldn’t say I have the greatest track record with keeping plants happy so if any of you have suggestions.. throw them my way!
Monat with Taylor.
I’m sure most of you (at least ladies) have seen Facebook groups and advertisements for the hair product, Monat. One of my very close friends and second shooters, Taylor, is a market partner with their company. I started using their products this week and have already seen a difference in my hair! It feels wonderful and all of the products smell great. I’ll keep you in the loop as I continue my process with their products but I think I’m sold.
