First of all.. sorry I’m not sorry for sharing SO many photos from Chris and Allyssa’s engagement session. But in all seriousness, I couldn’t get enough of their photos.

Chris and Allyssa are such an amazing couple. While they’re having their wedding downtown Chicago, they live in LA and knew they wanted to incorporate their ‘home’ into their engagement photos. I am so happy that they did! When booking clients, I always discuss adding the ‘you guys’ into engagement photos. For example, if you enjoy drinking bourbon together or you have a fur baby.. let’s incorporate the ‘you guys’!

When it comes to Chris and Allyssa, a big part of their ‘you guys’ is The Strand House. It was because of Strand that Chris and Allyssa met. She was working at the incredible restaurant and her boss knew that his good friend Chris was a perfect match for her. After dating for a few months, both Chris and Allyssa knew that they would be together forever.

Chris and Allyssa, I can’t thank you enough for bringing me to California to capture your love. Also, thank you for introducing me to SUGARFISH …I may have to plan a trip for John and I to come to California just to share the amazingness with him!
