Bennett Springs State Park Wedding, Travis & Maddie, Lebanon MO

I have started to write this blog at least 5 times before now… never knowing quite how to put this past weekend into words. Growing up, majority of my memories involve Maddie. Really, majority of my memories involve Maddie’s house. Whether it was a Wednesday morning with pancakes before school or a crazy late Saturday night in the back yard, my group of girlfriends and I lived at Maddie’s family home.

Now I can’t say that Maddie and I were the junior high girls that dreamed together about our wedding days. Instead of doing that, we were usually working on our AIM profiles or walking to the local grocery store to pick out our afternoon snacks. But what I can say is that I am so grateful we have grown from the teenagers we were to the adults we are becoming together.

Today, Maddie and I are still like those junior high girls in a lot of ways. Only now, instead of gossiping about who we have crushes on.. we’re talking about her and Travis’ house renovation or the most recent wedding she photographed alongside with me.

This week, we’ve been talking about the most recent wedding I photographed… which was hers! Like I said previously, I have been trying to put this weekend into words multiple times now. The truth is, I can’t. This weekend was the most magical, special thing I have ever been a part of.

The way Travis looks at Maddie. Their heartfelt vows. Maddie’s dad, Tony, walking her to Travis before their first look. Precious, their bulldog, laying on the bottom of Maddie’s dress to make sure she was included during their ceremony.

I could blab on and on because like I said, this weekend was perfect. But instead of continuing to talk about it, I want to share with you some of my favorites images.
