Creekside Farms Wedding, Dave & Brittany, Rush City MN

“I’m just so excited!” responded Dave when I asked if he was nervous for his wedding day.  After several years of admiring Brittany, he wasn’t sure if this day would ever come.  Dave and Brittany met at Eastern Illinois University. It was obvious to all of their mutual friends what a crush Dave had on Brittany but he was always way too shy to act on it.  It wasn’t until one month before graduation that Dave finally got the courage to pursue Brittany.  The rest was history.  Dave and Brittany after being friends for so long instantly connected on a deeper level.

Their wedding day was one for the books.  I absolutely adore Brittany and her parents as I have known them since I was young. It was such a special experience to get to see Britt as a bride especially because she was marrying Dave. Throughout the morning, she was a bit nervous with the weather and just the jitters of waiting to see Dave at the alter.

Standing at the front of the ceremony, Dave grinned through the tears coming down his face when they opened the back barn doors to reveal Brittany and her father.  Brittany’s mother also had tears streaming down her face as she saw her husband give Brittany away. As she stood up at the front of the alter with her soon-to-be husband, I instantly saw the nervousness fade and excitement fill Brittany’s face.  At one point during the ceremony, she let out the sweetest laugh.. one that I think only Dave could bring her.

Dave and Brittany’s love for each other is obvious to those who know them.  My favorite part of their wedding day had to have been their vows.  Each writing their own, they surprisingly had many similarities. One of those similarities being that dogs would always be a center part of their lives…. best vow ever, right?!

I am so excited to share this wedding and to have had the opportunity to be a part of it in Rush City, MN. Dave and Britt, you two are the best.  I hope you are having an amazing time soaking up the sun in Jamaica. If you get a break from the sun and sand, here’s a chance to see some of my favorite photos from your special day!
