Timing is everything.

Nate and Kara met while working at Merchandise Mart downtown Chicago. Nate had been a sales rep at the startup since the beginning, Kara was the new girl in the office.

I said timing is everything because Nate put his two weeks in to go work for another company at the same time they had just began to pursue each other. Well, unknowingly both pursue each other that is. As soon as they started talking, it was obvious that they had something very special.

For their engagement session, we adventured around downtown Chicago and made sure to incorporate a few meaningful locations for them as a couple. One of their first dates was at the Donut Vault right by where they met at work. Not only was it such an adorable photo location spot, I also loved getting to hear about their date and letting them share the memories with it.

Nate and Kara, thank you for allowing me to photograph your engagement photos in the city where you fell in love. I am so happy for you!
