A proposal.. in the rain… ARE YOU KIDDING?!

Joe had a vision for his proposal to his girlfriend of 4 years, Sara. Joe and Sara fully renovated their condo in River North over the last year and a half. It was an extremely special project for them together and one that he knew he wanted to incorporate into his proposal plan.  He contacted me and we worked together to figure out logistics, timing, etc. What we weren’t able to map out was the weather. On the day of Joe’s proposal, mother nature decided rain was the only thing in her plan that day.

Leading up to the moment, Joe went back and forth on a plan and whether or not his rooftop proposal was still feasible given the rain. With 30 minutes until his official proposal time, Joe decided to just go for it and propose on the roof in the rain.

IT WAS SO ROMANTIC AND PERFECT.

Joe, thank you for contacting me and allowing me to photograph such an incredible moment in you and Sara’s lives.  Joe and Sara, I am so happy for you!!!
