Jason and Kaitlin’s love story is one that could be made into a movie. They each attended the University of Illinois but knew nothing of each other while there. Flash forward a bit and picture a wedding in which they were both members of the bridal party. Jason was a relative of the groom and Kaitlin was a friend of the brides. During the wedding day, they participated by taking photos with the group, walking in the ceremony, entering at the reception, etc. That day was one to remember for not only the celebration of their friend/relatives wedding but because that was the day they found each other.
The spark they felt at that wedding has only grown since then. They learned that they both shared a love for the University of Illinois. They have experienced months of long distance as he has been deployed or in a different state. Through distance, Jason and Kaitlin have only come to love each other more. However, since their engagement they have put an end to long distance. Currently, Kaitlin lives in Georgia with Jason and couldn’t be happier to see him every day.
Jason and Kaitlin are a wonderful couple. They constantly laugh and joke with one another. They support each other with their careers and cherish every day spent together. One of my favorite parts of their engagement session was a discussion we had about their honeymoon plans. Rather than spending their honeymoon in one place like a beach or resort, Jason and Kaitlin are traveling through Canada. Long car rides, sight seeing and the company of each other is what they’re looking forward to. These two loves birds have turned a flirtatious connection at a wedding into the start of a wonderful future together and I am so excited for them.
