This is a session I have been looking forward to for quite some time. I’ve known Brittany since we were in junior high, maybe even younger. Growing up, we always attended horse shows together (my parent’s are Saddlebred & Morgan show horse trainers). Brittany and I would always run around, ride golf carts and make sure we matched at anytime possible. We referred to ourselves as twins and made sure that everyone else knew that we were as well.
Throughout our teenage years, Brittany and I would always talk about our current crushes or exchange stories about the cute boy from school. Neither of us knew that we would end up dating our “forever guys” just two days apart from one another. Brittany met Dave in college just like I met John. They began dating on April 19, just two days after John and I started our relationship.
Another similarity between Brittany and I is our love for photography. In addition to her full time job, Brittany loves photography and is obsessed with pictures. Last fall, one of her photography friends was offering mini sessions. She asked Dave if he would do a mini session with her and told him they would include their beloved pup, Buster. Well, as soon as Brittany mentioned this photo session Dave knew what he was going to do. He went along with her plans acting like he was just following along but secretly planned his proposal.
During their photo session, the photographer told Brittany she had a sign for Buster to wear. Not thinking anything of it, Brittany took the sign and put it on Buster. It wasn’t until she saw Dave on one knee that she realized the sign read, “Will you marry Dad?”.
