Classic Stone Creek Wedding, Travis & Charlotte, Urbana IL

The entire room was in tears as her father talked about his daughter. Charlotte sat in the corner of the room with her newly declared husband, Travis. Her father Jim recalled his memories with Charlotte on golf courses and his role as a caddy for her. As a golf caddy, his responsibility was to carry her equipment, give insightful advice and moral support when needed. Anyone who golfs knows that there are good and bad days, just like anyone knows that is the case in a marriage. Charlotte’s father encouraged Charlotte and Travis to caddy for each other throughout their lives. To be each other’s support and encouragement through it all and to rely on each other when in need.

Much like Charlotte’s father as a golf caddy, every single person present on Travis and Charlotte’s wedding day was full of love and encouragement. Travis’ groomsmen were southern gentleman and were an absolute blast to photograph. Charlotte’s bridesmaids were the cutest group of girls and couldn’t have been more enthusiast about taking pictures if they tried. Of the bridesmaids, Charlotte was the first of her friend group to get married. It was adorable to hear them talking about their future weddings and how they’ll have to recreate one of their photos from hers at each of theirs.

Travis and Charlotte’s wedding was timeless. All of the details were classic and elegant. Charlotte’s dress from Michelle’s Bridal was one of my absolute favorites. It reminded me of something Audrey Hepburn would wear. I loved, loved loved it! Their pink flowers popped perfectly against the navy dresses and suits. As always, Flora Design Studio did an incredible job with them. To match their beautiful bouquets, Cakes by Mrs. Pete made a lovely white cake garnished with pink flowers. Travis and Charlotte’s reception was held at Stone Creek Golf Club and as always, they provided an excellent experience for all guests. After dinner and toasts, Bugbee DJ Plus had a full floor of people dancing. It is always such a privilege to photograph weddings especially when they have such amazing vendors.

Travis and Charlotte, I loved spending the day with you. You are both such kind, loving people and I am so happy to have photographed your wedding day. I am so excited for you to see all of your wedding photos, but for now, here are a few of my many favorites!
