I can’t get enough of cute love stories and this couple definitely has one.  Clayton is a Marine from Georgia and Julie is originally from Ohio yet they met randomly in New York City.  They have been in a long distance from the get go but have never let that get in the way of their relationship.  Clayton proposed on New Years Eve at his home in Georgia and completely surprised Julie.  For their engagement photos, we went to Lake of the Woods in Mahomet on one of the first warm days this Spring.  It was funny that Julie mentioned Lake of the Woods after looking for rural places to take photos around the Champaign area but had never actually been there especially because I spend so much time taking photos there! I loved what a goof ball Clayton was the entire time and how much he made Julie laugh even when he was doing things she didn’t want him to (for example, pretending like he was going to throw her in the lake).  Overall, this couple was great to work with and I know they have a wonderful future ahead of them.  Thank you Julie for contacting me after finding my work through The Knot! 🙂
