When I think of Matt and Colleen, the word cozy comes to mind. Cozy: giving a feeling of comfort, warmth, and relaxation. From the way they are to others around them all the way to even the smell in their Chicago apartment… Matt and Colleen give off feelings of comfort and warmth to anyone around them.

From the time I met Matt and Colleen on, I knew that I absolutely had to work with them. As soon as their engagement session was over… I wanted it to be their wedding day. The joy they exude as a couple is contagious to anyone around them. They are the kind of couple that individually are each amazing human beings.. but when you put them together they somehow become even better.

Their wedding day was filled with so much happiness. Each and every one of the speeches at their reception touched on what a perfect compliment Matt and Colleen are to each other. Matt brings out the adventurous side of Colleen while she keeps him grounded.

In addition to talking about their compatibility, many also brought up how the wonderful examples in each of their lives also contributed to how they are as a couple.Both of their parents have been married for 20+ years and have showed Matt and Colleen what it is to love.

Matt and Colleen, you two are so lucky to have found each other. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to photograph the ‘best day of your lives’ but know that many more ‘best days’ are to follow. Congratulations and I cannot wait to see where your life together takes you!
