What a great time I had photographing Eric and Lauren in Los Angeles, CA.   We were able to encompass parts of their past by walking down memory lane at UCLA  where they met and then parts of their current life by photographing them near their home by the beach during sunset. I had never visited UCLA’s campus prior to their session and was absolutely stunned by how beautiful the landscape and buildings are.  I basically fell in love with Royce Hall and it’s pillars, lights and ceiling.  As a University of Illinois graduate, I have become very used to flat land with pretty trees and buildings so seeing how beautiful the hilly campus was made for a lovely change. Eric, Lauren and I spent our afternoon on UCLA’s campus then after getting burgers at The Standing Room (AMAZING burgers by the way) we ventured out to the Palos Verdes Cliffs to get photos at sunset.  The lighting and sound of the waves made for an extremely romantic environment.  While waiting for the sunset to be at that golden glow we were looking for, Eric and Lauren shared intimate moments together watching the sunset and embracing each other.  It was such a great experience to photograph in LA and I cannot wait to return there next May for Eric and Lauren’s wedding.
