Cameron & Madison were married on May 21, 2016 at Hudson Farms in Urbana, IL.  I don’t even know where to begin describing this wedding… it was absolutely perfect! Madison had thought of and planned every single detail.  The details throughout the entire day were amazing…. everything from the little signs leading into the ceremony to the individually unique floral centerpieces at the reception.  It was a beautiful setting for Cameron and Madison to begin their new life together surrounded by their family and friends.

One of my favorite parts of their day was hearing how the two of them came to be the two of them.  Madison’s grandmother had discovered Cameron long before she had and desperately wanted the two of them to meet.  A couple of years after Maddie’s grandma pointed him out at their church, Cameron decided to ask Maddie out.  Ironically enough, the sermon from that day’s mass was on serendipity, a term that means “luck that takes the form of finding valuable or pleasant things that are not looked for”.  That Sunday morning accidentally turned into one of the best days of their lives.

I loved how much thought had been put into this wedding and how much personal detail was included.  For starters, it was a must that Madison’s dog Nilla made an appearance for photos with her and her groom to be.  Nilla couldn’t contain her excitement when she arrived at the farm, especially when she saw Maddie.  The adorable pup Nilla wasn’t the only one excited to see Maddie. Cameron couldn’t get over how beautiful she looked and was grinning like a little boy on Christmas morning when Maddie tapped him on the shoulder and he turned around to see his bride.  Cameron and Madison were both so excited to see each other and were genuinely excited throughout the entire day.  They were both wonderful to be around and it made overjoyed to see them so happy.

As sweet and wonderful as this couple is, it only made sense that every single aspect of their wedding day was the same.  The ceremony was intimate and included personally written vows.  It also included a moment towards the end of the ceremony that Cameron, Madison and both sets of their parents joined together to pray.  It was silent in the barn as guests witnessed this incredibly meaningful moment between the family.  When the ceremony finished, the evening continued with a happy hour filled with cocktails, a popcorn bar and yard games. Guests had a blast taking pictures on the hay wagon and challenging each other to a game of bags.  During this time, Cameron & Madison had a moment to themselves to take it all in and also take photographs as an officially married couple.

The rest of the evening was filled with heart felt speeches, cake cutting, ice cream, dancing and much more.  Cameron and Madison waited until just after sunset to release a love lantern into the sky as another way to celebrate the beginning of their marriage.  I still can’t get over how beautiful their day was and how happy I am for this couple.  Cameron and Madison,  I hope you are having the most amazing time in Italy… have some espresso for me and take lots of pictures!
