Summer Engagement Session

Summer Engagement Session, Nate & Lindsay, Peoria IL

For Nate and Lindsay’s engagement session, I met them at their home in Peoria, IL. For me, there is always something so special about taking pictures at a couples house. Especially Nate and Lindsay’s home that was filled with personal touches. We began their session sitting on their cozy couch and their beloved pup Ralph who was delighted to join them for a few. From there, we ventured downstairs to their recently finished basement. In particular, I couldn’t get enough of the bar area that Nate had fully built himself.

After spending time at their home, Nate, Lindsay and I went over to a nearby park. This location was a photographer’s dream. I mean, look at those lily pads! I loved venturing around the park and getting to talk wedding details with these two. To finish the session, we made a fire in Nate and Lindsay’s backyard. Overall, I felt like all aspects of their session gave me such an inside look into their relationship and I loved every bit of it. It was a lovely session and I can’t wait for their wedding!
