Timeless Champaign Country Club Wedding, Blake & Laurie, Champaign IL

The first time Blake saw Laurie, his first words foreshadowed their wedding day. After a few drinks while tailgating, Blake couldn’t help but exclaim, “Will you Marry Me?” at the moment he saw Laurie. Almost six years after that day, his initial wish request came true and he married the love of his life.

On the morning of their special day, nervous excitement filled both Blake and Laurie as they prepared. Prior to beginning their preparations, Blake dropped off a speaker in the morning to Laurie’s parents house where she and her bridesmaids were getting ready. With the speaker, Blake requested that Laurie and her girlfriends listen to a “wedding day” playlist he had created for her. It was such a sweet way of showing how excited he was for the day and that he had thought every minute of it.

Laurie also gave Blake a gift prior to seeing him on their wedding day. With reference to their initial meeting at a tailgate, Laurie gave Blake Illini football tickets. To tie it all together, she included a note that read, “Let’s go back to where it all began <3”.

The loving energy felt when Blake and Laurie are together is evident for anyone around them. In Laurie’s fathers speech he explained that there has never been a doubt in his mind that Blake and Laurie were meant to be. Along with her father, every other speech given on their wedding day also referenced their undeniable connection to each other.

Blake and Laurie are one of my favorite couples to photograph. Not only are they insanely beautiful.. .they are also such a genuinely nice pair couple. I have enjoyed every single moment spent with these two and am seriously SO excited to share with you their wedding photos! Just a warning, I had a hard time narrowing them down so enjoy lots of favorites 🙂
