I first worked with Matt and Megan when Matt contacted me to photograph his proposal! It was the sweetest thing. He proposed to her on their third anniversary and made sure to include their precious fur baby, Cooper. Megan had known that the possibility of getting engaged was in the works but Matt totally surprised her that afternoon.

Once the wedding planning had begun and an official date was set, I was one of their first official vendors. I had so much fun photographing their proposal and knew that the rest of our time working together would be no different.

For their engagement photos, Matt knew he wanted to take them around University of Illinois campus. Two days prior to their session, I received a pretty funny email from Megan letting me know that T-Pain was performing a concert on the quad the afternoon we had a session scheduled. We did see set up taking place for the stage however, the T-Pain photo bomb I was envisioning didn’t happen. There’s always room for a surprise appearance at your wedding day… right Matt and Megan?!
