Downtown Chicago Engagement, Bryan & Mary, Chicago IL

As you’ll see when you look through these images, Mary has the most incredible smile.  Her smile especially radiates when she’s interacting with Bryan.  When we began their engagement session, both Bryan and Mary expressed how excited for pictures they were.  I absolutely loved that.  They were noticeably giddy throughout their entire session.

Since these two live in the south loop, we adventured around the city for their engagement photos. One of the locations being Grant Park.  Grant Park also happens to be where Bryan surprised Mary and proposed.  It was Fourth of July had Mary thought they had a pretty relaxed day planned.  They were on a walk being ‘tourists’ in their own city.  Mary was completely oblivious that anything other than a walk was planned.

To Bryan’s surprise when they got to the Buckingham Fountain, there were hardly any others around.  To those of you who are familiar with the fountain, it is ALWAYS crowded! Standing next to the fountain with the city landscape in the background, Bryan got down on one knee and asked Mary to be his wife. When she said yes, Bryan surprised Mary even more by having her family and his waiting to celebrate.

Bryan and Mary are seriously so adorable. I am so excited to be a part of their wedding day in less than a year from now!
