Friday Feels

Hey friends, Happy Friday.  If you’re like me, you’re wishing that today’s weather was a lot more like yesterday’s… which was super nice and finally Spring-like! But I suppose we’ll just have to take what Mother Nature gives us and cross our fingers she decides on Spring soon. In other news, it’s been two weeks since I’ve done a Friday Feels post so here’s a little peek into some of my activities since!

Easter Weekend.

John and I spent Easter weekend in Lexington, KY with my family and we seriously had so much fun.  I loved getting to see my family. I also am a foodie and love going to Lexington to get some of my favorites like, The Local Taco.  In addition to making sure I had my guacamole fix at Local Taco as well as my Waffle House trip before heading home, we also got to be college kids again with my sister on University of Kentucky’s campus. We danced, took $2 mystery blue shots and had the best time with my sister and her friend Rachel. I’ll admit, recovering from that the next day was not nearly as easy at it used to be… does this mean I’m getting old?!

Monopoly.

One of my souvenirs on my trip to South Africa was a South African Monopoly version.  What I love about this specific version is it’s filled with places I’ve actually visited in South Africa! I love board games and am constantly trying to convince John or really anyone to play with me.  When I first got home, John wasn’t nearly as enthused about my new game as I was. It took around two months to finally get him to play a game. Well, to his surprise… he had an absolute blast! Now, we’ve become crazy competitive and have had an ongoing Monopoly game literally all week.

The Reset Conference.

The Reset Conference is seriously the best. I’ve had the opportunity to be on staff the past two years as their social media manager and it is amazing. Every year I come home with pages and pages full of applicable information for my business. Not to mention, I get to hang out with some of my favorite people as well as hear from incredible leaders in the industry. In the next couple of weeks, I plan to do an entire blog post dedicated to The Reset Conference but for now I’ll just tell you.. it’s one of my favorite weekends of the year!
