Friday Feels: July Travels!

Friday Feels: July Travels

WHAT. A. MONTH.

But seriously, July has been filled with so much joy.  With wedding season in full swing, it’s been wonderful to have the ability to get away for not one but THREE different trips this past month.  Up First…

Fourth of July @ Lake Geneva.

Lake Geneva has been John and I’s favorite place to be since we began dating. The lake house was his grandmother’s and has been a special place for him since childhood. This Fourth of July week, we spent several days at the lake with John’s dad along with all of our pups.  We spent days on the lake soaking up the sun and fishing. Our nights were filled with adult beverages, cigars and the sounds of John and his dad playing guitar/singing.  While there, we also paid a visit to the beloved Chucks bar and of course, The Dairy Ripple.

Next Up…Santa Barbara.

The second weekend in July, I spent in Santa Barbara. I attended and photographed Kevin and Taylor’s intimate wedding at the Santa Barbara Courthouse.  Although I was technically traveling alone, Kevin and Taylor along with their guests made me feel like I was part of the family.  I spent Friday night with them at their rehearsal dinner and all of Saturday for their wedding day.  After all of the formalities were finished, I joined the party with them at The Red Piano in Santa Barbara.  SO MUCH FUN.

Last but not least… The Final Fiesta!

If you follow me on social media, you probably already know I spent last weekend in Scottsdale, AZ for my bachelorette party. It was an unforgettable weekend and I can’t express how much all of these humans mean to me.  Truly, I am so lucky.

I could talk about this weekend for hours but have to give a handful of shout outs.

Thank you Maddie and Audrey for all of the planning and decorating you did prior to the weekend.

Nicole, thank you for the ‘games’.

John, I am so excited to marry you. Thank you for surprising all of us with the ultimate gift of Saturday’s brunch.  Side note, the beer you special requested for me to, ‘take to chug town’ was a hit.

To my parents, thank you for surprising us yet again with another brunch taken care of.  I am so lucky to have such loving and providing parents. I can’t wait to dance the night away with you two on my wedding day!

And to all of my best friends, thank you for making me feel so incredibly special. I love you all SO much.
