It was Valentine’s Day. They were in Napa Valley California on a vacation. Cecil and Agatha were visiting a vineyard when he surprised her by getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him. To view their engagement photos, click here. Although she may not have been expecting him to propose, her answer was immediately yes as she had been in love with him for over six years. CJ & Aggie (as they’re known for short) began dating their senior year of high school. The relationship between them only grew stronger as they continued to college, both attending schools in the same town as they other. After college, the two continued experiencing life together by purchasing their first home and getting their dog, Flyer.

After over seven years of love and friendship, Cecil and Agatha’s wedding day happened this past weekend! Their wedding day was beautiful and timeless despite the less than ideal rain and cold weather. CJ and his groomsmen dressed to the nines in black tuxes and bowties. Agatha wore a stunning all white ballgown wedding dress and paired it with a front side braid that I couldn’t stop obsessing over. Coupled with pink dresses and full bouquets, this couple and their bridal party looked absolutely wonderful.

In addition to looking wonderful, the bridal party also all had the best attitudes when it came time for photographs.. outside… in the rain! Throughout our time taking pictures, they smiled, laughed and even offered up their umbrellas to keep Aggie from getting wet. The bridal party’s optimistic spirits kept everyone from even thinking about the rain and allowed for a good time to be had by all.

Of the many sweet moments throughout the wedding day, most noteworthy was Cecil and Agatha’s first dance. Picture this. The classic, “The Way You Look Tonight” by Frank Sinatra playing in the background as they commanded the attention of the ballroom. Cecil spinning Agatha around and together performing a stunning choreographed first dance. The way they looked at each other, smiling through every spin and sway.

To conclude, I am so grateful to have been a part of Cecil and Agatha’s wedding day. They are a beautiful couple and I have loved getting to know them over the past two years as we awaited their wedding.
