Fall Wedding at Wesley United Methodist Church, Cory & Jackie, Champaign IL

When leaving the reception this past Saturday, my second shooter Maddie and I talked about Cory and Jackie’s wedding. We always love getting in the car after a long day and going over our favorite parts. Maddie and I both agreed that our favorite part about Cory and Jackie’s wedding day was the two of them. We both said to each other how adorable it was the amount of excitement Cory and Jackie shared the entire day spent together.

It began with Cory’s expression while he waited for Jackie to tap him on the shoulder during their first look. I asked him if he was nervous and he couldn’t help but get a big smile and say that he was just sooo ready to see her. When they saw each other for the first time, Cory spun Jackie around and they both beamed about how it was officially their wedding day… aka the best day ever!

Onto our walk to the quad for pictures, where both Cory and Jackie both had a skip in their step. When I asked them to rock a ‘no smile photo’.. they did for a couple seconds but then both agreed it was hard to do when they were just soooo happy. Out of the entire day, I couldn’t think of a period of time that either of them went without grinning.

Thinking back on the day, nothing showed Cory and Jackie’s enthusiasm for their marriage more than they did at their reception. These two danced, danced and danced some more. When they entered, everyone stood and cheered as they bopped around kissing, spinning and moving with each other. Then, their first dance they took things a little slower and shared a formal dance to one of Jackie’s favorite Disney songs. When all of the events were through and it was time to party, Cory and Jackie were the first out on the dance floor. I don’t know that I have ever seen a couple share so much joy dancing together.

It was so wonderful to be around Cory and Jackie on their wedding day. I am so happy they have found such extreme love and happiness with each other. Enjoy some of my favorite photos from their day!
