When I think about summer coming to an end, I want to step on the brakes! I never want summer to end.

I have had the best time experiencing Summertime Chicago in full. At the top of my summer experiences thus far, Lollapalooza takes the cake. I have never been to a music festival and dove head first in for 3 full days of Lollapalooza. Favorite shows I saw include Young the Giant, Miley (duh!), MAX, Dermot Kennedy and Post Malone.

Other fun summertime festivities include: brunches, baby cuddles with my favorite ‘nephews’ (honorary mention Henry who was featured in last Friday Feels!), Cubs games and fun evenings with the roomies.

Current Binges.

Okay so I mentioned that I had been watching Succession on one of my more recent Instagram posts and many of you are also fans. My roommate Rachel and I just finished watching Season 2 and already can’t wait for Season 3.. SO. GOOD.

While we wait for Season 3, we found The Night Of to watch. Ummmm.. we are only one episode in and cannot handle it. ANYONE ELSE?!

Also, favorite book I’ve read recently is The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Another favorite from the same author, Daisy Jones and The Six.

Louisville.

For those of you who didn’t know me growing up, you may not know that my parents are professional horse trainers. I spent my summers traveling to shows all across the country. In high school, I had a summer job working for the photographer at shows. I competitively showed horses until I was 13 years old. However, I’m actually very afraid of horses!

Well, this past week, I was able to support my parents at their World Championship Horse Show in Louisville, KY. It was so special to get to be there, spend time with my parents and support them in something they are absolutely incredible at. I am endlessly grateful for the incredible example they have provided me as business owners and the work ethic they’ve instilled in me.
