Mariano Park Engagement, Zach & Kari, Chicago IL

Zach and Kari are such a fun couple. For their engagement session, they knew they wanted to incorporate all ‘Chicago things’ they love. We started their session at Mariano Park which is near where Zach used to live in the city. From there, we bopped around Gold Coast before we headed to North Ave Beach to get the best city skyline views.

What I absolutely loved about photographing Zach and Kari is how instantly comfortable they were in front of the camera. Kari has the most contagious smile. Not to mention, her dress was absolutely perfect for having Zach spin her around. We finished their session by popping bottles of champagne at the lakefront at 9am… HOW FUN.

These two are getting married at Holy Name Cathedral and celebrating after at River Roast and I cannot wait to be a part of their day!!
