Theater on the Lake Proposal, Tom & Renee, Chicago IL

Tom and Renee are two of the absolute best humans.

I met Renee through mutual friends/past brides and we instantly clicked. Lucky for me, she also happens to be a super talented photographer. Our friendship blossomed through a long road trip to Minnesota for a wedding she second shot with me. Over the years, I have been able to spend time with Renee at weddings. Whether it was with her shooting along side by me or as a guest since I have been fortunate enough to photograph many of her friends!

This time, it was Renee’s turn to be in front of the camera! Tom contacted me about a month ago with a hilarious message saying, “he heard I was pretty good at proposal pictures”. From there, we began making plans and were in close contact making sure that his proposal would be absolutely perfect. We met the day before the proposal for what was essentially a rehearsal walkthrough and the excitement he contained was contagious.

Just as Tom had hoped, his proposal to Renee was absolutely perfect. Even as I type this I am smiling because it was just SO lovely!

Tom and Renee, I am stupid excited for the two of you. In short, I love you both and can’t wait to see you ‘do life together’!
