Dalton and Cass are high school sweethearts. Well technically they began dating right at the end of their senior year of high school so they are more or less ‘long distance college sweethearts’. Over their years in college, Dalton and Cass cherished the time they were able to have together and grew closer to each other every visit.

Dalton proposed to Cass in Colorado on a ski trip with Cass’ sister and brother-in-law. Cass remembers Dalton wasn’t really eating and was acting a bit strange but at the time she didn’t think much about it. It wasn’t until he saw a photo op spot and was the one to suggest that they should take a photo that she knew something was up. In all of their nine years together, she said she isn’t sure if he had ever been the one to suggest a photo before her! Well, she was right.. something was up! He was proposing!

Dalton and Cass, you two just fit. I loved photographing you together in your hometown. Thank you for being troopers even when it was sprinkling for 85% of your engagement session. Love ya both.. can’t wait for your big day in 2022!!
