It was their third year anniversary.  Just a month prior, Matt and Megan had adopted their beloved pup, Cooper.  Matt wanted to do something special for Megan that incorporated their anniversary and also their new fur baby. Oh… and he also wanted to propose to her.

Matt’s initial message to me was inquiring about my mini sessions offered on the 22nd.  After I gave him my information, he let me know he thought they might hold off as he was planning to propose soon and therefore would be getting engagement photos taken sooner rather than later. At the end of his message, he asked if anyone ever used photo sessions as a proposal.

Completely disregarding his first point about holding off on the session, I instantly jumped on proposal and told him that it would be the perfect opportunity!! After all, any girl would be over the moon about their boyfriend planning a photo session.. not to mention, proposing during it!!!

We continued chatting and came up with a plan for his proposal to Megan.  Matt’s plan to propose to Megan on their anniversary couldn’t have gone more perfectly.
